March 9: Numbers 33-34

March 9, Numbers 33-34

Numbers 33 is a detailed recap of where the Lord has brought the Israelites. Moses has obviously kept a detailed log of where they have been. I assume that some of this may be review for you as you read it, but it is always good to reflect on where the Lord has brought us!

Numbers 34. Now we transition into a section on the final instructions to the Israelites for getting ready to enter the Promised Land. God is allocating the inheritances of land to each tribe based on what they need for size, and also God is setting up who the chiefs will be for each tribe. 

To sum it all up:

  • It is cool to continue to see that God cares about the details and is setting it up all for the Israelites and for us. Trust in Him - Obey Him - God’s got this!
